In the event that a product in lost or damaged during shipping or found to be defective, please visit our
page to inform one of our customer service representatives. Upon confirmation, a replacement product or credit, equal to the value of the lost or damaged product, will be issued. Claims must be placed within 5 days of receipt.
Broken Glass:
If you received a product with broken glass, please
within 24 hours of delivery. A replacement part will be sent out to you at no extra cost.
Returns / Exchanges:
To return an item, please contact our customer service department and request a return authorization number before proceeding. We cannot process any returns without an authorization number. Return requests must be made within 20 days of receipt. Items must be in an new and unused condition and sent in original packaging. All accessories, paperwork and manuals must be included in the package. Packaging must be undamaged and in a presentable condition. Customer is responsible for both initial and return shipping costs.
Individual items valued under $50, special orders, clearance items and custom made items cannot be returned. Items that have been used or installed, large orders and quantity orders cannot be returned.
For exchanges, please call our customer service number to place a request.
Refunds:
We will refund your purchase after the item has been received and inspected by the manufacturer. This can take up to 30 days. Shipping costs will only be refunded in the case of an error of Home Lighting Today or a manufacturer. Express shipping costs are not refundable.
The customer will be responsible for a 25 percent restocking fee, plus the cost of return shipping.
Delivery Times:
Delivery times vary for each manufacturer. Please refer to the item description for the delivery time for each item.
Change/Cancel Order:
Orders may be changed on the same day with no problem through our
page on the website. After that time, please call our customer service number for any changes. You may cancel your order within 24 hours at no charge. After that time, there may be a manufacturer restocking fee, depending on the item ordered and whether the order has been processed or not. You will receive a written confirmation within 24 hours. If you do not receive a confirmation, your change was not processed and you must
immediately to make a change.
If an item has already been shipped by the manufacturer, you may still be charged for shipping costs.
Special custom made items and orders greater than $2,000 cannot be cancelled after the order has been processed.
Inspecting Your Shipment:
Upon receipt of your shipment, please inspect everything for damaged or missing items. Also note any damaged packages before signing for a shipment. By signing the packing slip, your are acknowledging full receipt of all items listed thereon. Upon receipt, you have 5 days to report any missing or damaged items.
